The Sasini Estates is comprised of 9 expansive coffee growing plantations within Kiambu and Nyeri counties. These farms have been growing coffee for over 50 years in nutrient rich, volcanic soil creating ideal conditions for the plants to thrive.

The coffee varieties in Kenya play a large role in why their flavors in the cup are unique. There are 4 distinctive varieties comprising this cup. While Individually some of these varieties highlight bright acidity and others notes of black currant, we have found the coffee from the Sasini Estates sparkles with dried fruit and citrus.

STAFF PICK

We're thrilled to carry such an excellent representation of Kenyan coffee in our store. Its flavors are rich, complex, and pair well with both sweet and savory foods. I would encourage any fan of lighter-bodied coffees to give the Sasini a try.
Chelsea Dubay, Store Manager | Woodcroft

I'm excited that we are highlighting a Kenyan coffee with a lighter roast profile. This coffee has a complex flavor and juicy mouthfeel, and it maintains both as it cools!
Alyssa Noble, Assistant Store Manager | Broad Street
