World Central Kitchen


Founded in 2010 by celebrity chef José Andrés, World Central Kitchen aims to be a first responder and then collaborator on solutions with local chefs to solve the problem of hunger immediately following a disaster.

Food For Farmers

Food 4 Farmers helps coffee-growing communities strengthen local food systems, promote sustainable farming practices, diversify family livelihoods, and cultivate local leadership. 

The Hub Farm

The Hub Farm provides environmental education, community engagement events and capacity building for outdoor learning across the Durham Public Schools system. 

Habitat For Humanity

Habitat for Humanity works toward a vision of ending homelessness by building strength, stability, and self-reliance in partnership with families in need of decent and affordable housing.


Equality North Carolina builds LGBTQ+ power through advocacy, education, and uplifting the stories of queer and trans North Carolinians in pursuit of racial and social justice.

Sea Turtle Hospital

The mission of the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center is the conservation and preservation of all species of marine turtles, both in the water and on the beach.

The Classical Station
WCPE, The Classical Station is a non-commercial, independent, listener-supported station dedicated to excellence in classical music broadcasting. Located in central North Carolina in Wake Forest, WCPE serves the Piedmont area, including Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.
Cafe Femenino Foundation

Cafe Femenino Foundation is a non-profit organization to provide grants to programs and projects that enhance the lives of women and their families in coffee-producing communities around the world.

Mountains to Sea Trail

Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail’s mission is to bring together communities and volunteers to build a simple footpath connecting North Carolina’s natural treasures for the enjoyment and education of people.

Coffee Equity Lab

The Coffee Equity Lab at Vanderbuilt University uses systems research to advance understandings of the root causes and effects of coffee's current equity and sustainability challenges.
