These paintings feature my interpretations of some of the more memorable mid-20th century coffee can packaging I've come across while treasure hunting and researching.

As a graphic designer working mostly with the Specialty Coffee industry, I am inspired by the richly optimistic visual language that was embraced in these early coffee packaging designs, and the often anonymous creative hands behind them.

The paintings also act as a reminder to me that beauty is subjective and fleeting. Everything changes. Nothing gold CAN stay, so you might as well enjoy the ride.
