We are long time supporters of the Cafe Femenino coffee program – Cafe Femenino provides direct compensation to women coffee farmers, along with the opportunity and resources to enact positive change in their communities. We are honored to feature the first organic and Fair Trade microlot from Peruvian Cafe Femenino producer, Erlita Baca Arce. Erlita's farm is approximately 2.5 acres producing about 20 bags of green coffee per year. Robbie offered to purchase it all at a premium, and she accepted. It took a lot of effort to keep this coffee separate to be presented as a single farmer lot, but the results are worth it! You will love the chocolate, nutty, dried fruit tasting notes.
