A Piedmont Restaurant - JVG Coffee Dinner
We recently partnered with Piedmont Restaurant of Durham on a special Joe Van Gogh Coffee Dinner, which not only used our coffee in each course, but also paired with a freshly brewed cup complementing each dish! Needless to say it was delicious, and all focused on the great farmers and fishermen of North Carolina.
Piedmont provides a Farm to Table experience, supporting local farmers with a menu that changes daily based on seasonal availability. Of the products they use, 95% are local! To top it off, they are also a certified Piedmont Grown restaurant. With a mission based on sustainability and engaging in the local community, we are proud to be one of their partners.
You can imagine how thrilled we were to work with them on the Joe Van Gogh Coffee Dinner held on December 2.

First Course: Coffee-brown sugar BBQ shrimp, brown butter-lemon soft polenta, red onion salad Paired with Colombia El Roble
Second Course: Roasted pork loin open face sandwich, Sunset Farms pork, poached Latta’s Farm egg, brioche bread, red eye gravy Paired with Costa Rica Tarrazu
Third Course: Coffee braised Coon Rock Farm beef short ribs, purple top turnip puree, spicy collard greens, fried onions, braising juice Paired with Papua New Guinea Madan
Final Course: Flourless Espresso-chocolate cake, coffee bean-vanilla caramel, dulce de leche swirl ice cream Paired with our classic Espresso Blend
